This one is a beauty, but she may be a little too… overdone?
Have a look inside and see for yourself.
Rose Cottage is located in Enterprise, Oregon. She was built in 1906 and the current owner has her dressed to the nines!
Currently for sale for $369,000, this gingerbread Victorian has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in 1,742 square feet.
The décor is sweet and charming but House Crazy Sarah thinks it crosses over into the territory of perhaps too much going on.
There is so much loveliness but it all competes chaotically for the eye – and makes for a bit of a confusing scene.
Below is the vintage inspired kitchen:
Look at the old kitchen sink and the snazzy retro red fridge:
And yes, the fridge is included in the sale!
Below you can see the antique stove (which is negotiable):
Just off the kitchen is a newer solarium where you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the birdies tweet in the yard:
Let’s have a look around the rest of the house…
There is a dainty Jotul woodstove in the living room:
A peek in the bedrooms:
The third bedroom has fun red and white checkered floors and is reminiscent of a dollhouse with a collection of vintage dolls:
Back outside, the exterior of Rose Cottage is bedecked in colorful shingles of her day, ornate gingerbread trim and spandrel arches on the peaks of the roofs.
One thing for sure we can say about Rose Cottage…
She is LOVED!
