It’s been a while since House Crazy Sarah featured a Colorado cabin from her adopted state.
Set on a sunny mountain-side lot in the Sphinx Park area near Bailey, Colorado is this charming 1905 log cabin.
This one has that perfect mix of Colorado rustic character and vintage funkiness that House Crazy Sarah so adores.
Currently used as a vacation rental, the cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is just a short walk from the famous Buck Snort Saloon.
The décor is Colorado cabin perfection with knotty pine walls, exposed logs, and forest green paint.
House Crazy Sarah loves all the vintage signs, photos and knickity-knacks.
The living room has a little red stove for warmth and ambience in the winter months.
And have a look at the vintage kitchen:
How about that antique cook stove!
The bathroom is unique with its cattle water trough bathtub:
One of the bedrooms with twin beds:
Upstairs is the loft master bedroom.
The master bedroom is spacious and has a walk–out to the back patio.
It also has its own bathroom, this one featuring a clawfoot tub:
The home has great outdoor spaces as well.
If you are ever staying in the Denver area, why not make a trip to the mountains and rent out this cabin rather than some boring chain hotel in the city?
House Crazy Sarah highly recommends it!
