Today we visit the old stomping grounds of House Crazy Sarah in Manitou Springs, Colorado.
This is the place where House Crazy Sarah worked for a Realtor for several years and was fortunate enough to go inside many fabulous historic mountain homes.
Some were large and luxurious, and others were small and quirky like this little blue cottage perched on a mountainside in the vibrant, artistic town of Manitou Springs.

This tiny home may look diminutive from the outside, but inside, it is next-level adorable-ness!
Currently listed for $365,000, this pint-sized cottage measures in at only 649 square feet with one bedroom and one bathroom.
It’s a lot of money for a tiny house, but this place is packed with unique touches and a vintage feel.

The home was built in 1899, mostly likely for use as a summerhouse as the town was founded to be a scenic health resort due to its healing mineral springs and fresh mountain air.
You enter into the kitchen which is the perfect blend of modern amenities and old-fashioned charm.

Notice the porcelain farmer’s sink and the table-for-two which is made from the base of an antique sewing machine.

The cupboard and counter space is minimal, and all dishes would have to be done by hand, but it’s just so darn cute!

The sage green paint continues in the single bedroom.

The one bedroom is tucked in right off the kitchen.

From the angle below, it looks like the bedroom is actually open to the hallway.

The quaint bathroom has some gorgeous antique-inspired wallpaper.

Beyond the bedroom and bathroom is the great room.

This room has a large fireplace but the focal point is the view of the mountain landscape out the sliding glass doors.

A vaulted ceiling makes the room feel lofty and spacious.

The deck off the great room is the perfect place to breathe in that fresh mountain air.

This part of the house makes a good case for being “the front” of the house.

After all, it’s all about the views in the mountain town of Manitou Springs.

The cottage’s lot is only 2,548 square feet, but hey, it makes for less maintenance.

This would be a perfect artist’s retreat or couple’s love nest.

It’s double-rainbow approved!
