This site is a curation of many things: houses, art, houses, writing, houses, cool old stuff, houses, interesting places, houses, and well, more houses. This site serves no other purpose than to provide entertainment to readers and to amuse the author. This site will also perhaps provide House Crazy Sarah with a little side income so she can eventually retire and relax in her old house full-time. To that end, she may run some ads and put a donation button on here so she can make a little cash.
The author (House Crazy Sarah) is an experienced writer and blogger who published two books of serious literary fiction in the 2000’s, and created/authored/curated the popular blog House Crazy from 2012 – 2016. She sold that blog for more money than she ever made on any of her published books but later regretted selling it because the company that bought it shamelessly turned it into an advertising farm, changed its name, bastardized the original content and gutted its soul, much to the chagrin of House Crazy’s many fans and long-time readers.
This new blog, entitled House Crazy Sarah, is the author’s way of making it up to her fans. The big difference about this reincarnation, is that the blog will be about more than just houses (but with a good dose of house love) and it will never be sold because it has the author’s name right in the title.

Obligatory disclaimers:
This website (blog, or “web-log”) is meant solely for entertainment purposes as is evident in the silliness of its content. While this personal blog may dispense advice and opinions, they are solely those of the author and are in no way meant to be taken seriously as the author is full of sassy bluster. House Crazy Sarah is the sole owner, proprietor, writer, and curator of this website. She prefers to be called a “webmistress” rather than a “webmaster” because she prefers female pronouns and identifies as a female humanoid. Also, webmistress sounds kind of witch-y and hip in a femi-nerdi way.
Photos on this site:
House Crazy Sarah uses some of her own photography but many of the photos on this blog are swiped off the internet. House Crazy Sarah tries to use images that are supposedly in the public domain, but sometimes it’s hard to tell who the original copyright holders are. When she engages in such potential copy-right infringement, she claims “fair use” under US copyright law. So if you find this site has used one of your photos without permission and you want it removed, just contact House Crazy Sarah. She’s pretty chill.

A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed. If she could, House Crazy Sarah would have a cookie jar full of warm, gooey cookies for her readers on her website. But since that technology has not yet been invented, here’s a virtual representation of her goodwill:
