Okay all you Jane Austen fans… House Crazy Sarah has a house for you!
She found this one on a filming location website that lists real homes available to rent for photography or film shoots.
This grand bibliophile’s paradise is located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.
The listing doesn’t give a whole lot of information about the home other than it is Victorian-era, but the pictures tell us all we need to know: book lovers live here!
Apart from the many books and vivid artwork, the kitchen is also something to behold:
It is a massive, modern extension of the original house.
In this kitchen, you would never run out of counter space!
The “great hall” feeling of the kitchen is reminiscent of the grand eating halls with long formal dining tables found in old English country estates.
This one, however, is a much more edgy and artsy take on the concept.
The family room has deep mustard yellow walls and navy blue accents:
Those banks of windows are just spectacular!
A chic and light-filled ladies den:
And look! More books!
What a cozy & colorful little family room.
What do the bedrooms look like?
Spacious and bright, of course, infused with rich color and fabulous style.
A charming little girls room:
And in the stair landing:
The assemblage of art in this home is just as impressive as the home’s book collection. It makes this house so… alive.
The character continues into the yard…
A perfect English country garden!
Hopefully, a movie location scout will discover this fantastic manor with all its plentiful bookshelves and have it featured in a major motion picture.
In fact, this artsy/literary house is worthy of having a script written specifically for it!
