This super fun place dates back to 1908 and is the oldest municipal building left standing in Corsicana, Texas.

The Old City Jail is located in the downtown area and was completely renovated in 2015 when it was converted into a 1,200-square-foot residence.

It is currently listed for sale by owner for $534,000.
With bars still on the windows, and original jail cells still occupying the interior, this is the real deal.

Come on in and have a look-see!

The exposed brick walls in the interior (and the bars on the window) lend to the genuine jail feeling of the place. However, it is a little more upscale these days.

Looking up from the living room, there is a mezzanine/loft level and some old tin tiles in the high ceiling.

We don’t see much of the kitchen (just a peek in the photo above). But it looks compact and stylish.

There are not a whole lot of listing photos but in the large bedroom, we can see one of the original iron cells.

You can share your bedroom with the ghosts of inmates past.

Although not pictured, there is a new deck on top of the garage which is accessible from a door off the loft bedroom.
The owner is willing to sell the place furnished to sweeten the deal.
Wouldn’t it be fun to have people over and lock them in the cells?
Come on home to the Old City Jail!
