This frosty green retro house makes House Crazy Sarah want to order a cheeseburger, fries, and rootbeer float.

Dating back to 1947, this art deco beauty in Baltimore, Maryland was built by Benjamin “B.N.” Eisenberg on a lot overlooking Lake Montebello. Eisenberg designed the house for his second wife, Eunice. The Art Deco style of the home is said to be inspired by the couple’s extensive time vacationing in Florida’s Miami Beach.

Eisenberg brought the sleek Miami Beach style to the suburbs of Maryland – complete with pink flamingos, apparently.
The home is on the smaller side with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in 1,189 square feet.

Eisenberg’s masterpiece last sold in July of 2021 for $259,000.
Let’s have a look at the inside – as shown in the former listing photos!

You can see that the previous owners fully embraced both the Art Deco and mid-century modern vibes.

The listing said the home was featured in the publications Washington and Baltimore Art Deco – A Design History of Neighboring Cities (2014) and Baltimore Deco (1984).

Squishy Cheez Whiz-colored furniture? Check! Kid and pet-friendly too!

The decor is sprinkled with fun collectibles and vintage pieces.

The kitchen looks to be in near original condition.

Check out the linoleum sampler display on the backsplash (below left):

The cabinets are painted with fun pastel colors to compliment the mint green walls.

And look at the groovy little pink corner half-circle cabinet:

The fabulousness carries on into the bathrooms.

The bedrooms are also styled like time capsules.

The second bathroom is the one dark room in the house but it still elicits a giggle with those baseball faucet handles.

The back of the home features a three-season enclosed porch room.

The backyard has a patio pad perfect for outdoor dining.

Not sure what is going on with that roof line though!

The trees have grown up around this 1947 house but from the street, you can see the nearby lake.

A few years have passed since this Miami Beach-inspired abode last sold. Hopefully, it hasn’t changed much, and hopefully, the pink flamingos are still there!
