This artful and charming Mediterranean Revival style home is located in the historic Fullerwood District of St. Augustine, Florida.
The home was built in 1925 and it is currently listed for sale for $669,990.
The listing proclaims it is the “highlight of the Historic Fullerwood district.”
Yes, it is a beautiful property.
But what caught House Crazy Sarah’s discerning eye, was the astonishing collection of artwork inside.
Almost every wall features a large-scale painting, presumable originals. The paintings vary widely in style and subject matter.
A serious art collector lives here!
Despite the gallery-like interior, the vintage character of the home still manages to shine through, and perhaps is even complimented by the artwork.
What impresses House Crazy Sarah (besides all the varied artwork) are the many original casement windows.
All of the different elements somehow marry together cohesively in this home.
The yellow & black kitchen is eye-catching and elegant:
It has a lovely little breakfast corner:
Let’s go back through the vaulted living room to the grand staircase leading upstairs…
The drama of this place is remarkable!
The house has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms.
The ample windows and French doors leading out onto a balcony are so charming and bright.
The eclectic styling and mixing of art forms may be on the unconventional side of design in an historic home, but it somehow all works so well together.
Then there is this bedroom which exudes calm and Zen…
The filtered light coming in through those old multi-paned windows is just divine. 🙂
House Crazy Sarah’s art loving, vintage & design obsessed heart is fulfilled after looking at this amazing home!
