To say that Purple Haze Cabin in Big Bear Lake, California is a themed vacation rental is an understatement.

It is a veritable ode to the counter-culture of the 1960’s, and in particular, weed.
Once you see inside, it all becomes clear – or hazy, if you prefer.

Staying here “allows your true hippie soul to relax“, according to the AirB&B listing.

This traditional wood cabin has been decked-out in everything groovy and is, as you might imagine, 4/20 friendly.

The cabin is cute, but the special memorabilia makes it loads of fun.

House Crazy Sarah loves the red and white checkered curtains and table cloth; the weedy rug, not so much.

The kitchen has a lot of character, and a lot of silly kitsch.

Look at the skylight in one of the bedrooms:

The red paint is nice, and surprisingly, not green!

The cabin also has a second bedroom with twin beds:

“Are You Experienced?
You will be after your stay here!”
So says the listing.

The unconventional purple and turquoise exterior is actually quite charming.

Purple Haze Cabin currently rents for $239/night.

Kinda steep, but it is the Hippest Cabin in Big Bear!
