Pasadena, California is one of House Crazy Sarah’s most favorite places to house peep.
With its plethora of well-kept early 20th Century homes, the historic SoCal city never disappoints.
Recently, House Crazy Sarah came across this little jewel in the jewelry box of Pasadena real estate.

A 1935 English Tudor-style home on a corner lot that has modern updates but also plenty of original charm.

This adorable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1,597 square foot home is currently listed for a cool $1,499,000.
Probably out of range for most of us peasants, but we can dream.

Look at this lovely interior with, yes, the original fireplace!

The light streaming in through those original doors and windows is divine.

And the arched doorways, and the vaulted, beamed ceiling! Be still our beating hearts!

“Good bones” does not adequately describe this home. It has the finest, most exquisite bones on the house bones spectrum.

And look at this little sunroom/reading nook! Complete with a view of palm trees out the original French doors.

A light-filled dining room with a gorgeous, period-appropriate light fixture.

And what do we have sandwiched between the dining room and kitchen?

A breakfast nook with original built-ins!

The kitchen has been updated but in a way that compliments the historic nature of the home.

The tall sage green custom cabinets are rather soothing. And of course, the farmer’s sink with gold fixtures is completely lovely. So nice to see gold coming back into favor as a hardware finish. For a while, it was all brushed nickel or black. Gold is just so… pretty!

The bedrooms

The bedrooms are actually quite large for the home of this age.

In the unstaged bedroom pictured above, you can see the original multi-pane windows. Alas, all the hardwood floors are brand new. But still complimentary to this darling home.

The bathrooms have been tastefully remodeled in that understated Zen-Cali style. (House Crazy Sarah just made up that word: Zen-Cali).

Below, you can see the laundry room with original linoleum floor tiles.

Fun!
As you step out the back door, you walk into the fully fenced, private backyard.

The property features a secondary structure that could be used as an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit).

Needs a little love beyond the staging. But the outbuilding could have a variety of uses, like a studio, office, or guest house. Right now, it is just a garage. Which can be a good thing too.

This precious property is located in the heart of Pasadena with nearby eateries, shopping, and just minutes away from the old town Pasadena.
Come on lottery ticket!
