The Grand Cafe Van Gogh is a spacious bistro in a historic building that is filled with art and whimsy.
The café also has an outdoor terrace and serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.
Inside, the eye is entertained with a cacophony of art, architectural elements, chandeliers, mirrors, and huge windows from which you can see the historic National Bank of Romania.
The large Van Gogh painting is at the center of it all, and it is what gives the restaurant its namesake.
But this place is not just a tribute to the art of Van Gogh – it is so much more.
The cafe serves global cuisine, coffee, and of course, wine.
There are several dining areas and separate rooms that can be rented out for events.

It’s difficult to get a bad image at the Grand Cafe Van Gogh – every angle is a stunning scene!
The interesting thing about this cafe/gallery is that they are always switching things up with the artwork and decor.
Contemporary and classic works co-mingle here as naturally as the partons who come from all over the world for the unique ambiance.
Another neat feature is the “Happy Kids Corner”. Though not pictured, it is a separate “playground room” for the kiddos so parents of younglings can enjoy their time here as well.
