House Crazy Sarah can’t believe she hasn’t posted anything from her homeland yet! Today she would like to feature a vibrant neighborhood from her ancestral province of Quebec. Specifically, Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal Neighborhood.

Known as “the Plateau”, this neighborhood is famous for its European-esque streets full of charming, brightly painted townhouses.
But there are also cafes, galleries, book stores, vinyl record shops, lively bars, bakeries, fine restaurants, and beautiful parks.

Plateau Mont-Royal is situated just north of downtown Montreal. It has undergone a period of rejuvenation in recent decades where locals and investors have embraced the historic buildings and infused them with quirky charm and vibrant color.

Let us gaze upon the visual delight that is Montreal’s Plateau Mont-Royal Neighborhood…
