House Crazy Sarah is in love!
This stunning Gothic Revival House stands out in any season.
Built in 1855, this grand home is located in Staten Island, New York.
If the exterior of the home impresses you, you’re going to love the interior…
The extensive Victorian/Gothic décor throughout this house is completely captivating.
Now, House Crazy Sarah is NOT a fan of stuffed dead animals. However, there is something oddly fascinating about Victorian-era taxidermy.
Indeed, there is something oddly fascinating about this entire house.
It feels like the perfect location to have a séance!
Can you feel the spirits of past lives here? *shivers*
The home is so lavishly decorated with period antiques, it feels like stepping right into the past.
It’s hard to believe it was originally built for the price of $15,000.
The house was declared a New York City landmark on March 6, 1969.
The current owner, an avid preservationist, purchased the home in 1996 and has done much of the restoration work.
Each photo is a visual masterpiece.
There is so much for the eye to take in!
Gorgeous!

Have a look at some of the bedrooms…
The antique furniture pieces are breathtaking!
The room below must be the nursery.
Look at the vintage dolls!
And the bright green tiled fireplace….
…guarded by some very angry looking Boston Terrier-esque gargoyles.
Now, for House Crazy Sarah’s favorite room: the kitchen!
It is probably the least formal room in this home, but look how charming it is.
The wallpaper, the bead-board, the pot-bellied stove!
House Crazy Sarah would spend her days just walking around this amazing home, gazing at every inch of it. Maybe she can get a job as a ghost here. Heck, she’ll haunt this place for free!
Thank you to homeowner Edwin for sharing these gorgeous photos of the most spectacular Gothic Revival home!
